Rangers,
I leave for MEPS tomorrow and will be shipping off to BCT the following day. Thank you to all the Rangers, former and current, that have helped in mentoring. I will post sitreps whenever I have to opportunity to do so. Good luck to all other mentees.

Roger Ranger Jim.
SITREP update:
Rangers, I graduated BCT at Fort Benning and now I am currently home for Christmas Exodus. I am to report to AIT on January 3 and will include updates of AIT. All in all, BCT was a good experience. I feel that I adjusted well and learning the basics of BRM, urban ops and FTX's were enjoyable for me. With the completion of BCT, I am feeling confident and motivated, however, I know it only gets more difficult from here on out. I plan to work harder and to stay motivated in order to accomplish my goals. For my final PT test at BCT, I scored a 293.
PU: 83
SU:75
2-mile: 12:42
I felt pretty good about my run time considering that was a PR 2-mile time for me. However, I know there is still a lot of room for improvement in that department and I plan on working on my running as much as I can during AIT. I also know I need to work on my sit ups which I have a difficult time improving but I will continue to use the workout programs provided by the Rangers on this site.

Good Sitrep . . .Keep focused on your goal. Continue to work on your PT on your off time, it will pay off later.

Re: SITREP- redbear77
Rangers,
I am very close to graduating AIT. I leave for Camp Bullis tommorow where we will be doing a ftx for two weeks and then I will graduate. My record PT here was a 305 which was a slight increase from my BCT's record APFT. My run is still relatively weak and I am still trying to get it down from a high 12 minutes to a low 12 minute 2-mile. The RASP and Airborne candidates from cycles ahead of me have been getting heldover here due to backed up Airborne slots, so I expect to be here for a little while after I graduate. I will post updates when I graduate and get a definitive airborne date.
