I have spoken with 3 Active Duty recruiters via telephone, email and 1 National Guard recruiter in person and because of my disqualification, I was instructed by all to wait at least 6 months before trying to re-enlist. I have used this time to research the medical standards and recruitment processes for enlistment with and without options, adjusting my workout to meet the standards, received invaluable advice and information from Ranger Grim666 and interviewed 3 former armed service members for information.
The prospect seems promising and it has motivated me to keep going.

With Respect,
Travis

I have continued to workout 4-5 days out of the week with push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, flutter kicks and running twice a week."
In your 30's with 4 kids probably does not leave you with a lot of time, but you are going to have to start running more than a couple times a week if you want to improve your run time.

There are several APFT improvement plans in the about Army physical fitness thread.

I have 5 weeks left of EMT school and I will have my NREMT certification. I have also contacted all the schools I have attended over the past 10 years, to have transcripts ready for the recruiter, to help me enlist at a higher pay rate. I have improved on my run time but am striving to improve even more.

PT result:
PU: 52
SU: 47
Pull-Ups: 6
Run time: 17:33
Respectfully, Travis
You have been here for four months and your PT has shown little or no improvement. let's get with the program. Never, never quit!

One of the best ways to show that you have the determination, desire and drive to become a Ranger is through your PT program. If you can put out the effort that it takes to improve your score, then that will carry over into every other aspect of training. If you are not improving, then you are not putting enough effort into it. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, every quit! RLTW
