A Navy SEAL died Wednesday in a parachute jump incident during training in Perris, in southern Riverside County.
The Coronado-based Naval Special Warfare Group 1 command released the news Wednesday afternoon but withheld the sailor’s identity until the family is notified. The sailor is assigned to a West Coast SEAL unit.
