INTRO- Erica

Post by ruggermom »

Good evening Rangers,

My name is Erica,I'm from California but currently living in the Charleston area with my in-laws and daughter until my husband finishes training. Before I became a wife and mother it had been a goal of mine to join the Navy, but life threw a curve ball and took me where I am today. I am a new Army wife and joined this site to get more information about RASP and the Ranger Battalion to educate myself about what he will go through and what our family life will be like if he earns the tan beret.

My husband will finish up AIT in 2 weeks and from there it looks like he'll be a hold over for Airborne and most likely RASP as well. I fully support my husband in his decision to enlist with an option 40 in his contract and I know the road ahead of us will be tough but worth it in the end. I truly thank you all for your service and commitment to this country and all you do to keep us safe.

Sincerely,
Erica

Welcome ma'am. He has a long, hard road ahead of him. He'll need that support. Plenty of info here to help you all along.

Please remember that your OPSEC/PERSEC is vital and must be adhered to.

If you don't understand those terms you best look them up and take it very seriously as peoples lives depend on it.

We're happy to have you here.
