Not a day goes by without a drug bust, stabbing or shooting. Law enforcement seems unable to keep up with it all. What the area needs are more cops; and less PC bullshit about profiling.

The LEOs know who, what and where; they need to be able to do what they know needs to be done without political interference.
I work in a shithole very similar to Reading in terms of crime and ethnic make up, and actually fairly close to there. I can only assume that the reality for cops there is like mine- some guys/girls on the force are only collecting a check while others are actively policing. Add in that most of my local populace, even when they were present for something, will look you straight in the eye and say they saw nothing. Hell, we had a guy get shot in the face and killed at a block party with his best friend standing right there wearing brain matter afterwards. Wanna guess what the friend saw? People like that are the reason most cities turn into cesspools.
What most inner city types will never understand is that they are responsible for their own safety. They can maintain that safety by working with and through the local police. And yes, we as cops know not everyone can be trusted. But we also know the ones that can be and that will bust their ass to clean up the areas they work.
Amen, brother!

The first element of policing any population is the population itself.

"Snitches get Stitches" - that was an actual t-shirt being sold locally for a couple years around here when we had a huge spike in shootings in the hood, hanging in every store window for about 19.99.

Fuck them. Let 'em police their own or die next to them.

Fatboy and Cams hit the nail on the head. It's a shame to see once ok places turn bad. How do you get it through to their thick Fn heads that people have to help themselves clean up the hood?

With zero support police can only do so much.

Maybe fence off the place and let them kill each other off?

It would be nice to wall off areas and then turn it into a free fire zone. The reality of that though is cops would get shit on for not doing more to stop it.

And the snitches get stitches mantra is alive and well still. Just once I would love to see a "snitch" light up a scum bag who is coming to give them stitches.

Elvis or MLK?

Bushwhack and Fatboy, I've had the exact same thought for years, about fencing off an entire section of the city, dropping in 2 cases of rifles and letting them have it. Anyone without glint tape (probably aging myself here) that comes over the fence gets whacked. Glad to see I'm not alone in my problem solving.

It's going to get worse, a lot worse, before and if, it ever gets better.
With the Libs and illegals and Maury Povich audience procreating like fuckin rabbits, we're quickly heading to disastrous consequences, for everybody.

No joke. We're fucked.

MLK was born on the 15th in 1929....fuck it both I guess.

Now we may return to our regularly scheduled on going (though legitimate) misanthropic bitch fest.

We could start the fencing in my A/O. I would estimate that I need about a square mile worth just to get a jump on thinning the heard.

Hell, I would settle for a few well placed explosions to clean out a couple of leach nests. That alone would make my job easier.

And as for the king comment, fine. I'll settle for supreme dictator until the job is complete then I'll retire to a house in the mountains somewhere. I also nominate Cams for president effective immediately until I can build and train my army for urban renewal. Applications are being accepted as we speak....
