My point was; concealed carry can work if common sence and good judgment is applied.

When I was watching the news the other night and first saw this, there was some shitty journalism. They made it sound like this guy just came out of no where and blasted two dudes on a street corner.
Since then the story has been released, and especially after the District Attorney has stated the Good Citizen will not have any charges pressed against him, my thoughts have been Give that a guy a key to the city, comp him for the ammo he used to help clean it up, and reduce his taxes for a year.
And to the leach on society that stated her poor dead kid was a good boy and would never hurt anyone, I say you are now correct. He will never attempt to hurt anyone again.

But, sex is still present. Nothing like a scandal to make things interesting (and sell airtime).

I am having some distinctly unkind thoughts right now. They mostly involve stuffing an unlubed, preheated curling iron up someone's posterior to ensure they don't spew such shit ever again.....

Probably what the "baby momma" would spend support money on anyway. May as well cut out the middle man.

The place is just a shit hole. Reading is at the end of the I-78 corridor. It runs from NYC through N.J. and into PA. Every city it passes through (Easton, Bethlehem and Allentown) becomes a stopping off point for gang activity and drug distribution.

Not a day goes by without a drug bust, stabbing or shooting. Law enforcement seems unable to keep up with it all. What the area needs are more cops; and less PC bullshit about profiling.

The LEOs know who, what and where; they need to be able to do what they know needs to be done without political interference.

Caught in the act, then shot dead - is not a way for a supposedly perpetrator ability to plead "not guilty".

I work in a shithole very similar to Reading in terms of crime and ethnic make up, and actually fairly close to there. I can only assume that the reality for cops there is like mine- some guys/girls on the force are only collecting a check while others are actively policing. Add in that most of my local populace, even when they were present for something, will look you straight in the eye and say they saw nothing. Hell, we had a guy get shot in the face and killed at a block party with his best friend standing right there wearing brain matter afterwards. Wanna guess what the friend saw? People like that are the reason most cities turn into cesspools.
What most inner city types will never understand is that they are responsible for their own safety. They can maintain that safety by working with and through the local police. And yes, we as cops know not everyone can be trusted. But we also know the ones that can be and that will bust their ass to clean up the areas they work.
