Mike, that's a weak introduction. You state that you have both an undergraduate and a graduate degree, but you do not say from where. Nor do you tell us anything about yourself. Would you really introduce yourself to a future employer, or even a peer like this? Please tell us more. If you really want to serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right site. We take pride in the fine young men who pass through armyranger.com on their life journey. Most questions you might have were probably answered several times. The Search feature is on the top right of this page. Please read all the FAQs, as well as select stickies and threads. The serch feature will answer most questions you might have. Please post a self-administered PT test on this thread within 72 hours. Never, never quit.

Ranger Jim please excuse my weak introduction, I was not sure how much personal information to include. However as previous stated my name is mike and I have a B.S in criminal justice from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and a M.A from Arizona State University. My original plan was to start on my PhD but I decided to go accomplish that endeavor at a later time. I currently reside in Houston,Texas (NW) so if there anyone on the site located here as well I would love to train with you all. I swore into the U.S Army 3 weeks ago and my ship date is early January. Furthermore, my pt scores are as follow: push up 63, sit ups 60 and 2 mile run 18min 20 sec. I do understand I have a lot of work to do as I only recently started training. My runing time will be hardest thing for decrease due to fact I have never been a long distance runner but I am more than up to the challenge. Currently my plan is to serve about 6 years then move on to federal law enforcement. However that may change depending on how much I enjoy the U.S Army in general.
