SITREP - Aaron

Post by Apkaz »

Well...my time in DEP absolutely FLEW by. I head up to MEPs in Boston today and will be shipping out to Fort Jackson tomorrow. Life really does go by so quickly, I'm realizing that more and more each day. The fact that I'm leaving still hasn't fully set in yet but, now I'm starting to get anxious.

I just want to thank you Rangers for the all great information and motivation you have given me and all the other future and aspiring soldiers in the world, I am truly thankful and appreciative. I will check back in ASAP and post SIT-REPS..until then, take care and god speed.
I live to train. I train to live. Go hard or go home, no pain no gain.

I wish I had seen this yesterday, Boston MEP's is about 5 mins from me.

I remember that day, it didn't really hit me either until my family said goodbye, sitting in that hotel room alone that night, excited, nervous, almost scared, trying to mentally leave the 'boy' in me behind and return to my family a grown man.

Probably the same hotel you spent the night in, right next to the Storage place on 93S (Southie/Dorchester) with the giant inflatable padlock hanging on the building.

I wish you well young man. Look forward to your Sitreps and continued success.
