Ranger Handbook

I was just given the Ranger Handbook and was wondering what information would be the best for a DEP to learn? I know that knots, formations, leadership, and orienteering are very important, but are there other things that I should read up on?

Any of the basics and the Ranger Creed. Familiarize yourself with it. You'll learn as ya go. But learn that Creed now.
