Introduction

Post by KiloBravo »

Hello everyone,
my name is Keith, I'm 21, and I'm a civilian. After graduating High School, I've spent some time in college, but have always been interested in the military, and am seriously considering joining the SOF community. I happened on this site while researching, and joined for its insight.
Thanks for having me,

Thanks guys!
As for college: While I did enjoy the subject matter (International Studies), I found the academic aspect to be quite grating. I have a few years done and will likely finish up a degree at some point, either in service (if and when I join) or afterward. Additionally, if I want to join SOF, I'm not getting younger. My thoughts.

Well there is plenty to read and lots of info here. Plenty of insight to be gained by observing the banter that takes place between the Rangers on this board. Read, read, then read some more, use the search feature, then read again. THEN start a thread with any questions you may have.

Always try to find what you're looking for yourself before you expect someone else to just hand it to you. I'm saving you a lot of grief before you start some "So, what's it like to be a Ranger?" thread.

That being said, if you really have some good questions that haven't been covered, I'm sure that there is someone here that can answer for you.

*Thanks Rangers!

Roger that. I plan on reading and searching more than posting.

And thanks for checking me on that Ranger. I realized after I had submitted the post, but couldn't find a way to go back and edit it. My apologies.
