MEPS Airborne Physical vs. Army Airborne Dr.

Post by r753gs9 »

I took my physical at MEPS and required a consult because of a prior ACL knee surgery a few years ago. The consult came back good and MEPS approved me as qualified for Airborne training and I was able to obtain a 40 option. I did not require a waiver and received a PUHLES score of 111121, the 2 is because I require spectacle lenses to correct to 20/20. My question is, is it possible that I may still be DQ'd once I report to BAC and sent to a leg unit "needs of the army" and denied Airborne training. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I ship 20110912. Thank you in advance for your advice Rangers.
