Ranger Sniper

How would you become a Ranger Sniper? You probably finish Ranger and Airborne School first, but what is the next step?

When you finally get to one of the Ranger Battalions, you will have get assigned to the Sniper Section and when you are ready they will send you to Sniper School. Right now worry about getting there and making it, then start showing your interest in joining the Snipers. It is not impossible.

What types of weapons would the batallion snipers be expected to use? the M24 and M82A1 im guessing?

thats a nice looking rifle there.... dont they also use one with an integral supressor? i think i have seen a couple of pics of blokes using those.
