graduate airborne today

Post by Cayo »

Rangers,
Today I graduate with airborne class 09-11. Then it is off to RASP hold and eventually RASP.

Airborne school went well enough, although I still haven't figured out if I actually like jumping or not. I think most people either love it or hate it, I still don't really know haha.

I'm proud of my wings, but even more excited to earn my scroll.

Best regards,
Alex

Congrats on the wings, and best of luck on the next step. It will all be worth it.

Outstanding. Now you know how to make the commute to work. Next step will be your intro into the work you do. Remember, AIT/OSUT only taught you the basic skills you need in order to learn the trade.

Well congrads on graduation there young stud! Don't mean to slam ya right outta the gate, but hold your opinion on whether you like jumping or not cause truthfully? You ain't been on an Airborne Operation yet! Airborne school is just an orientation designed so even the weak can make it. The vast majority of these fellow graduates of yours will forever be "Five Jump Chumps". They strap a 120lb ruck to your ass and you fall out the door in the dead of night after several days of little to no sleep along with a BN of other guys you'll be in a little better shape to render a true opinion. . Good luck on RASP Stud, kick it in the 4th point of contact! 8)

Oh, one more thing, it always helps on your first day at RASP at formation to sound off with a loud and thunderous "I can't be smoked!" They love that stuff!
