me! I'm a 15 year old (16 in a couple days!) kid, going into my junior year of high school. I decided I wanted to be an Army Ranger about a year ago, and I've been trying to find out more ever since. I stumbled upon this site (which is excellent, thank you), and I think this is gonna be the most helpful place I'll be able to find.
I'm planning on going to college before the army (as if my parents would let me have it any other way) and possibly through ROTC. well, thats about it so, peace out for now.

Lazyboy don't let Ranger2 get cha concerned about your "peaceout" closing. Your still mighty young, but I wanted to commend you on your desire to become a U.S. Army Ranger. Welcome to our site, I suggest you use the search function before you start to ask questions that have already been answered many times before. You should be getting a couple of private messages from some of the younger members of our community who have the same goals and desires as you do.
Remember to respect this community, we're hear to help you and guide you. But also remember this is a Army Ranger site, staffed very well with tried and true Real Army Rangers and there may be times when you get "chin checked" its our way of making you understand what type of person it takes to become one of the elite as well as put you back on track.
In any event I would like to personally welcome you to our community and I hope you find that you've come to the right place in terms of your decision to become a Ranger. Do well in school, stay away from people who do drugs, remain physcially fit, listen to your parents and be an example for others to follow in your community. Take care young man.

You are fortunate that Ranger BeadleBug rescued you. He must be drinking gensing tea or something today....normally he would've bit your lips off.
Anyway, I guess you can see that we don't do the, "whazzup, playa...peace out" crap on this board. For the most part, we have grown men here. Use good grammar, proper capitalization/ punctuation, and treat the Rangers on this board with the respect they have earned. Do that, and you should be OK.
Welcome to the site. I am impressed that you have set such high goals for yourself at such an early stage in your life. Drive on to the objective and never look back!
