Introduction

Post by klinelugz »

My name is Mike. I am a prior service 88M SPC, with duty stations at Ft. Riley (deployment to Kosovo) and Ft. Campbell. I got out of the Army almost 9 years ago due to my ex-wife and I being dual military (at the time) with a beautiful little newborn girl. She out ranked me so I got out. In the years since I've been out, I worked in law enforcement and as a Dr. Asst. working in operating rooms and clinics with feet. Yea I know, gross.

I have recently begun my process of coming back active duty, there aren't too many MOS's open to me at this time. I'm just grateful to get the opportunity to come back in. The MOS that is open to me right now, and is the most appealing is 11X. I'm hoping to get this MOS, go to training BCT/AIT, (gotta do BCT again since they are closing WTC) Airborne, then hopefully RASP if given the opportunity.

I know I have a long hard road ahead of me, but my future is what I make of it.

Thank you to all the Rangers that have served and are currently serving now. Your dedication to excellance speaks highly of you.

Thank you,

~Mike

Thank you Rangers.

I noticed the majority of you were in Vietnam. My father was an Engineer in country 68-69. He used to tell me stories about how hard core the Rangers were in Vietnam. Not sure if he actually knew any of you.

Thank you for your service and leadership.

Mike
