well, good job in becoming part of the team.

the fact the you had an OP40 so close but your age screwed you sucks.

you will NOT, however, let that stop you from being the best soldier you can be. regardless of your age.

the counselor called and tried to help, that's admirable. i seen them basically tell people to fuck off.

if the ROC said no, it's because there were no more OP40 contracts in the timeframe you needed them in. someone would have to dep loss before you turn 35 and you would have to be there to catch their slot.

you passed the physical. don't do shit else.

if you are wearing glasses it will have no bearing on anything with any other training.

you can, but the Drill Sergeants may have an issue with it in training.

again, regardless of what the Doc showed you, don't do shit to your eye until after all your training is complete.
