Well, in September I read:

Were we Soldiers, Once and Young
Jarhead
The Good Soldiers
Black Hawk Down
The Red Badge of Courage

All amazing books, but my favorite was The Good Soldiers.

This month I'll be reading Iron Coffins, Art of War, and On Killing.

Also if you refresh the 1st page of the topic I made a list of all the suggestions made to make it easier if someone is just looking for the book titles. I'll try to keep it updated if more posts are made.

Ranger Slowpoke, your right it might have been good if I read it on my own or had payed attention to the teacher when he was reading. Also, the only book I enjoyed in high school was "Night" by Elie Wiesel, about his time in the concentration camp. So if anyone is looking for a book in that catagory there you go.
