Leaving ROTC to enlist and get Option 40

Rangers,

I am currently on a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship, but I want to see action as a Ranger. Would it be smart if I would drop out of ROTC and college to enlist and become a Ranger?

No! You made a commitment to accept the scholarship and you should honor it. Because you took the scholarship someone else did not get one.
