Intro-Gage

Post by G.M.7 »

Hello Rangers,

My name is Gage. I'll be 19 in September. I enlisted a few weeks ago as an 11x. I ship 20110109. I will go into basic as an E-3 pending a PT test (I got E-2 because of college credits). I did not get an option 40 in my contract when I went to MEPS, but I am going for a re-negotiation after Labor Day. I wish I knew of this site beforehand because it has a lot of helpful information on dealing with the MEPS personnel. However I will get my option 40, wether I get it on the re-no or shine in OSUT to get an invitation to Airborne and RASP. I've already found a boatload of information on this site, and every single one of my questions have already been answered without me even asking them. I am looking forward to shipping out and can't wait to start my career in the U.S. Army.
