My intro

Post by ChemC.A.B.48th »

Hello Rangers,

I wanna thank you for all that you have done and continue to do every day.

I am currently a member of the GA Guard and also an Active duty vet. I did 6 years active my assignments where 10th Mtn, Korea and Ft. Bragg.
I deployed to Iraq in 05-06 and Afghanistan in 09-10 where I earned my cab. I am a 74D "Leg" but I will reclass to Infantry hopefully Airborne after that but my main goal is Pre-Ranger.

I have made the decision to prepare for Pre-Ranger school after years of seeing squared away Rangers in my career. I still believe in "Be all you can". I have been looking closely at this site for over two weeks and in that time with this forum I have constructed a PT Plan and started working on some Ranger Common Tasks at home as a start. I intend to keep my mouth shut until after I utilize the search engine.

I am very fired up and just getting my body right and working on my mental toughness.

Thanks for your time,
“Grant stood by me when I was crazy, and I stood by him when he was drunk, and now we stand by each other.”

In 2005, we were in the same Shithole under the same general flag. I was in B/2/121 in the 48th, so great to see you brother. Good luck.

I was in B Batt 1-377 05-06 we where under 18th ABN Corps Atry now 18th Fires BDE. I was at Log Base Seitz right next to the KBR trash burn site. But I served with 1-108th RSTA in Afghanistan and there where so many vets from the Sunni triangle and they are some great guys and it was great to be on E.T.T. and P.M.T under Task Force Phoenix.

Thanks for the welcome Rangers and all. I have picked the R.A.W. program to start with before I try anything too advanced. One thing that wont change about the Army is crawl, walk , run and I'm crawling to say the least. I will post my progress in a month.

Mental Toughness is paramount!
