I've attempted to download this several times, but instead of opening in pdf vai adobe reader, it opens under microsoft word, and I get 300 pages of this:

Ensure that it ends with .pdf
Try right clicking it, and then going

No dice, I have windows7 and my right-click window doesnt have an "open with" function. (I understand the need for Innovation but Microsoft needs to know that I'm not interested in relearning how to operate a computer every time some programmer pulls an Idea out of his ass.) I need to fix this or it will complicate my online classes, considering that 45%-80% of each course's material is in pdf downloads...
