Hi my name is Jerrod, Im a future Solidier mos/25C with an option 40 contract.
I'm from Dallas,TX. I'm an Ex-pro Rugby player. I leave for Basic June 15th Ft. Knox, I Started a Crossfit training program to prepare for (rip) Dose anyone have any tips for getting ready for the Riggers of Ranger training. I'm a bigger person not fat Just Big, I'm trying to drop some weight I'm (6'5 240/lean) Right now I hope to be (225lbs./Ripped) before I leave for for basic. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome and congratulations for enlisting for the opportunity to serve our country as an Army Ranger. Check out the physical fitness forum on this site for PT advice. Give yourself a PT test and include pull-ups with palms facing you. That will give you a good idea of where you are now and what you need to improve. And definitely kill that red font.
