Age Limits for NG

I would like to get into the NG. I have a few years experience in the 82nd as an 11B1P and frankly I miss running around in the woods and petting jake the snake. :D

I am 39 yrs old however, and I want to be an officer. Can I still get in?

Also, one of my old unit buddies wants back in as well and he is 43. Is it too late for him as well?

yes you may join the NG.

As SFC hit_it said yes, but you must hurry as you need an age waiver to be an officer. As far as your friend, I believe as long as he can make 20 good years before he turns 60, he can join the guard as well.
