I stumbled upon this speech which I thought was extraordinary and worthy of review for each and every American Man, Woman and Child as a reminder of what our Country Stands for and the sacrifices that our soldiers endure for the freedom of our nation.

Wow...Guess you voted for Obama(makes you a winner?)...sorry it hasn't worked out...I am guessing (don't know you, Psycho7, but I know him...personally) that LTC North has more integrity, honor and love of country that you will ever have...just based on the above statement from you.... People all have, and are entitled to, their opinions, however the statement you just made is really just smeared with bullshit...really

So are you saying that his speech was not indicative of the American Fighting Spirit or reflective of our men and women who are deployed overseas right now?

I thought that it was a very powerful and patriotic speech, I find it interesting that you focused only on your dislike of the speaker and not the message. (which was the NRA's true purpose for having him there)

I don't care who wrote it nor do I care who presented it, but I do know that the content is true. It was truly a moving speech and I thank you for posting it so that I could remember.

I hope Obama is a one term president. The problem with that is he has galvanized the minorities in the USA to vote for him. We need a strong candidate to unseat him.

OK stud, now that is nearly comical. MAY BE PATRIOTIC? One of the most patriotic men who has ever served our nation. Good Moral People are convicted of things all the time that they did (for the right reason) or did not do (and just were in the wrong place, wrong time). And sometimes a patriot takes the fall for things that others haved done...and sometimes good people do bad things, because those things need to be done...that is a reality. And even better than that, when you are dealing with 2 bad guys, if one is willing to get rid of the other...that is worth taking a look at...when Saddam H. was the bad guy, and Iran had the Really bad guy, we gave Saddam weapons to fight the Really bad guy...so we didn't have to!!!! Are you starting to see how this big picture shit works?

As far as the "Kerry Report" you cited from the "National Archive" at GWU...HELLO...John Kerry??? Couldn't possibly be tainted...Mr. Swiftboat didn't have an agenda right? Remember Al Gore said the science is settled on Global Warming... and had to change the name to Climate Change, so he could finish off the Billion dollar personal profit mark before the entire world laughs him out of the spotlight.

McCain was not my guy, got my vote vs the alternative, but was not my choice. Obama is/was/will always be a mistake...on that one point we agree.

Back on the topic of the speech...the NRA picked just the right guy, to deliver just the right message...and I hope the timing isnt too late.

I'm gonna go drink and reminisce now...something actually important happened 20 years and an hour and a half from now...ago...have a good night all.

Pshyco, better follow up on your history lessons. North's criminal convictions were vacated (means he wasn't convicted), due to errors at trial.
