Introduction

Post by htemp »

I am currently serving in the Army Reserves as an 88M. I enlisted in March 2005, and I served one tour in sunny Iraq from October 06 to October 07. I am in the process of being discharged from the Reserves due to pregnancy.

I joined this forum because my husband enlisted 11X option 40. He is due to complete OSUT the week of Thanksgiving, with an Airborne start date of 1 December. He had been lurking on this forum for months, so I decided to join to see what I could learn.

Thank all of you Rangers for your service. I have already learned a lot, and I am looking forward to learning more.

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com Ma'am! Thanks so much for your service to our great country! Thanks for supporting your husband in his journey to becoming an Army Ranger. Take care of the little one too! You might suggest that your husband give us a sitrep when he has a moment.

If you have read around the site then you realize your husband's path is a difficult one and is one that takes much commitment. His path is one that few take. You can do your part in motivating him by simply telling him "do not even think of coming home without that scroll and tan beret". :-)

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

And the above quote is EXACTLY what I told him!
