Does Pre Ranger School help??

Post by Grgsgrl »

Does anyone happen to know how much PreRanger actually helps a soldier in Ranger School? Does it seem to have much of an effect on the recycle rate, etc?

Ranger Kilted Heathen would be the best one to answer your question. He is a PRC instructor. You can see him him answer some questions about PRC here:

If you have any further questions, please post an introduction in the proper intro forums to get the most appropriate reply.

Take this in the spirit that it's given...shut the fuck up.

Your Kilt and fucking Dunbars just made your fucking packing list.

If you're there at graduation you can bet your "ailin' arse" you'll be fucking playing them. In fact, prepare to pipe the class in during in-processing.

Fucking Campbells...

Just chiming in because my son is one week into Mtn phase. He had time to call and update after Phase One. He said the tasks in Pre Ranger were actually tougher than the Benning Phase. Not physically as far as food and sleep but the nav, tactics, missions, etc.

Sounds like you're doing a fine job Ranger Kilted one!
