WTB: Desert Tactical Vest

Post by BruteForce »

I'm looking to buy a tactical vest (much have ammo pouches and holster), in a tan or light ACU color. The vest should be able to accommodate a rear attached water bladder (camel bak style).

I've looked on RangerJoes and other locations, but I've yet to find one that meets all my requirements. If you have one for sale or can point me the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Ideally by mid-Feb, then I'll be unable to access any gear.

Thanks

Budget = cheap (On RangerJoes/eBay, they average $59-300).

No plates or plate carriers necessary, but it should already include magazine pouches and holster and be ready for a water bladder (that I'll need to source seperately).

I picked one up at Ranger Joe's last year that I think is what you're looking for. I think I found it upstairs. I can't remember if it had the molle capabilities for a camel back, but I'm sure you could engineer something.

I like the regular "assault vests" with the 6 mag pouches. Sometime try one and shove your sidearm into one of the mag pouches. Works pretty good, and you aren't giving up real estate. Just a thought.

This one came with 6x mag pouches, a pouch for shotgun shells and the pistol holster. It also has the standard harness attachments and molle setup. I now just need to source a water bladder and I'm GtG.

Thanks.
