Enlistment update

Hello Rangers,

I argued with recruiters for the better half of this afternoon, and finally walked out with a reserved slot for 11X with Option 40. I leave early Saturday morning for San Antonio for MEPs, and to argue with the counselors up there, but at least I'm finally on the right path towards becoming a United States Army Airborne Ranger. I will need to push my ship off date sometime past mid-February since I will be attending a memorial gathering for my father around that time. Any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

congrats on securing the reservation. You should already know when the ship date is for your contract. Why do you need to talk to the counselors about it?
