And lay off the salt. Salt is just about present in everything you eat. After several days without adding salt/sodium you could lose a few pounds.

Salt is present in:

(commercial) Salad Dressing, generally 2 tbsp = 450 mg sodium
So if you pour it on your salads you could get 3/4 of your daily sodium dosage from one little salad.
Daily allowance for 2400 calories is 2400 mg sodium.

Stay out of fast food joints, McDonalds, BK, Wendy's, etc.

You can go online to any of the above sites to look at their nutritional value to see what's good/safe to eat

Use smaller plates - as eating is a mental thing.
Eat s-l-o-w-l-y. It takes 20 minutes for the brain to find out you ate

Don't eat until you are full,
eat until you are not hungry (3 to 6 normal bites can achieve this)

Eat more veggies, less snacks until you achieve your goal.

Agreed...when I went to WTC in May, for the first three weeks we could not have any of the above (soda, candy etc..) I was floored after just three weeks that I dropped about 5 pounds just from laying off the sugary sweet junk...

The problem I have with the above is today (Sunday) my unit is having a pig roast...how do you not pig out at a pig roast!!
