Run Like Hell sitrep from RIP

Post by Invictus »

Ranger Invictus,
I completed week one of RIP and things are going well. We've already lost a good number of people through VW and I know more that plan on quitting Monday morning. The weather has been pretty hot and we had a few heat casualities already.

Our class NCO's set up a mandatory study session tonight, for Ranger History and Standards. I can already see a good number of people who are blowing off the written test, so hopefully they use this time wisely.

Staying focused on the objective,
Dan (RunLikeHell)
This man had a problem with his knee in Basic and Airborne, but drove on.
The moral of this story DEP's is never quit. Use your time wisely, now and when you start on your journey.

Not for the weak or faint-hearted, indeed....

Rangers,

I graduated with RIP class 09-08 today and will be assigned to 1st Battalion. Many thanks to the Rangers who contribute their time and share their experience through this website. Thanks to Ranger Invictus for mentoring me.

DEPs, all the information you need to succeed can be found on this website. Do more pushups - don't be the guy who has to watch his buddies graduate because he failed the PT test.
