3rd time this year

Post by Ndog275 »

Broke my nose for the third time this year.

Grappling last night when my partner passed the guard and tried to move to side control. When he went to plant his knee, on what he thought was the mat, we realized it was my face

The good news is I think we broke it in the right direction. I may not have to get it reset now by the ENT doc 8)
A 1/75 93-97

This mighty soldier on the eve of the war he waged
Told his troops of lessons learned from battles fought.
"May your heart grow bolder like an iron-clad brigade"
Said this leader to his outnumbered lot.

I feel your pain. I can barely breath out of mine. Doctor told me I had a three dimensionally deviated septum, probably related to blunt trauma...no shit!

I've been thinking about getting it fixed, since it messes with my cardio vascular ability, but I'm afraid I'm throwing money away knowing myself.

i can't tell ya the number of rds i have sparred or the rounds fought and I never broke my nose, i am lucky. some guys guys get what is called a "glass nose" and will find it easier and easier to get it broken. you need to get a full face head gear for practice sessions
