I did about 5 trips to JRTC (Chaffee & Polk). It is a pain in the butt, however I learned something everytime I went. Its supposed to be hard and difficult. The OC's, OPFOR and everyone else stuck in that hellhole called Ft Polk do an outstanding job.
When you go done there as a unit you cannot go with the attitude that you know everything. JRTC is like a whetstone, if used properly by the rotating unit it can hone a sharp unit. If it was easy, it wouldn't be worth a F%^&!
Yes, I may have to do another fricking rotation !

I was an OC there, it was a great job, once you got use to being in the middle of nowhere.. at least the casino's (free drinks) were never to far away!
