There was a sign at the Air Assault School at Campbell back in the late 80s that proclaimed it was the toughest 10 days in the Army. My "roll" emoticon didn't go through...

Now I get to be a cherry all over again

I plan to jog the RM and make it under 2 hrs. 35-45 lbs is light weight compared to my 60lb ruch in batt as a medic. Really, I am not worried about the RM but want to know a little about the course from some veteran graduates.
I HEARD the run is a bitch...

Any run is!

I'm ashamed to say I went in Hawaii. It had to have been the stupidest 10 days of my life (with nights and weekends off). They made a big deal out of everything, it was kind of awkward. All of the instructors were pogues, and loved fucking with 11b's.

Slingloading bounced alot people for some reason. The roadmarches were a close second. No Infantry types had issues with the school.

I really don't think there's much advice to throw around, because it's just....gay.

Now see the problem that just started? What if you don't pass for some stupid reason?

My wife went through it though. She's exactly 5'0" 125 lbs and got through through it by sheer power of will. Her little legs had to travel twice as fast as everyone else on the ruck march, but she made it in under the wire.

You shouldn't have any problems in my estimation.
If you're not Air Assault then I think we have to strip the "Duper" part out of your title. Maybe you can let your wife have it....

That place is cool, I did my Cambrian Patrol tryouts there. Small ass post.....

It would be a cool peace time posting place to get stationed.

Wait, maybe I'm getting my Orgeon cool places mixed up.....

Is it the place right on the beach, or the small place in the hills?????

I have to agree with everyone here. Don't let a leg beat you on the ruck... and try not to laugh at the instructors. Pay attention to your knots, and just don't fucking get hurt. Other than that, it's pretty gay.

I enjoyed Pathfinder even more. The best part of PF course, is pinning my bullwinkle badge to the board.
