How did you go about choosing 88N?

Ranger Jim,
"MrSoluble" is a dumb nickname that my lab partner used to call me in high school chemistry class. I've used it in the past as a handle on a few message boards, and as a screenname on AOL/AIM. I decided to change it to MrInsoluble, for no apparent reason.

I was limited to jobs that have a 6-week AIT, because I want to complete BCT and AIT in one summer vacation instead of doing a split op. 88N fit nicely, both in time and relevance: my major at WMU is management.

Understood, on both accounts. There is a chance that I may have more job openings to choose from in the National Guard than the Reserve. I am meeting tomorrow with the recruiter that works out of our ROTC building, to discuss reclassing.

If you want to be a transportation guru thats fine, it's a key point in military logistics.

My point is, don't settle for less than what you want because of the time that is available. Standards are standards and to keep them high you have to put forth the time and effort to get them that way.

You'll also see that saying later on in your military career.
