We have them, they are great but we don't use them dismounted. I need to figure out how to hook them up to an MBITR. Right now I use the Peltors with a PTT hook up for the MBITR.

Have any links for those? I have used Peltors and had mixed feelings about them, which is not saying that they don't work - proven that they do fine with IED's etc, but I would be all about some that don't fall apart in the hundred plus degree heat.

I don't really like the peltors. They are great against noise but if something comes over the net you are dominated by it and can't hear a guy talking right next to you. Harder to multitask....
I have been using the TASC headset, or the Cobra RACAL. It does not offer nearly as much ear protecthin but affords me more versatility in conjunction with an MBITR and other comms like an ICOM or verbal.
