Is that the same thing as that movie that starred Charlie Sheene back in the '80s-maybe? I don't remember the name, but he went deep under cover and busted a biker gang. It was supposedly based on a true story.

With regard to movies, I see them as 95% entertainment and 5% promoting research, meaning I see a subject on the big screen and then do research about it if I want.
No.

I think Sheen has been tapped to Dick Marcinko :D

I know what movie he's talking about, Charlie Sheen was tapped to take down a biker gang called the "Jackals". It co-stared Michael Madsen as the ringleader of the gang.

It's called "Beyond the Law"

In regards to your earlier post, I think that Gibson is a fine actor but takes far too many liberties in his period epics. In reference to "We were soldiers..." Hal Moore was very active in the production, and I think he kept old Mel on a tight leash.

I'm wondering how he'll be as a undercover cop attempting to pass as a hard core biker...... I don't know, but the dude's really versatile and he's surprised me before. I'll definitely see "Under and Alone" when it comes out. Like I said, the man's a great actor.

Blood Diamond

Post by Invictus »

I saw Blood Diamond today. This was easily the best movie I've seen in a long time. If Leo doesn't get an Oscar for this they should stop giving them out. I had a hard time buying him as a soldier of fortune type, but he did a damn fine job I thought. This is one that stays with you for a while after you leave the theatre.

Took my boy to see Eragon while in Vegas. Good story and effects, but it is trying to be something it is not...........(Fellowship of the Ring)

They left it open for another............

It has Jeremy Irons and John Malkevic in it.

I can't see any sane person considering that lot macho. They come across as a PSA for post-partem abortion.

Casino Royale-

I give it a 4 out of 5. A departure from some of the cheesiness associated with previous Bond flics. Bond is more of an ass-kicker in this one. Daniel Craig isn't quite as suave as the others, but he adds something to the character that has been missing, a degree of believability. Yup, the torture scene is painful, and yup there were some smokin' Bond babes.

Sweet. I'm looking forward to this one.

I watched The Black Dahlia last night. It was so-so, kinda lame. BUT, and I say BUT, it has Scarlett Johannson in it!! Once again, I have to say, I think she is the prettiest thing since my new benchmade knife. 8)

I rented and watched this the other night too. I watched the entire show, however.

Funny as hell, in a retarded way. The beard (and shaving that resulted in the beard) was totally "DEE DEE DEE" (reference Carlos Mencia).

..and what was up with drinking the horse semen? UGH!

All-in-all, I should have probably spent my time doing something with at least a minor amount of moral substance!

The upadated or whatever version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I'd never seen the original one but this one was okay. My only problem was the kids bein so damn stupid. What's worse is... well, that would give it away for those like me who had never seen the first one. Anyway, that's all I got.

Oh, it does have a chic in it that runs around with her shirt tied at the waist and I swear you could see her nipples for half the movie.

I mentioned my new Benchmade in the same sentence, does that count for anything?
