CBCHO

Post by LLUbetterhalf »

I thought I would let some of your members know about a program for NG and Reservists coming off of deployment. If you are injured during your deployment and need more than 3 months of medical care or some type of surgery that will require physical therapy you may qualify for a program called CBCHO. This program allows you to live at home, work at an Armory close to your HOR, and have your medical care taken care of by Tri-Care.

I was on this program for 10months coming back from my last deployment. The Army kept me on Title 10 orders and paid me while I medically recovered from my injuries. They also paid for my 4 surgeries and my recovery time from these injuries.

I know that NG and Reserve soldiers coming off of deployment are quick to want to go back to their civilian lives but if you need some type of ‘overhaul’ this may be the program for you. You continue getting Active Duty pay while you are healing from injuries that you acquired while you were on deployment.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.
