Yeah, neither of us had even heard of that, never mind seen it, until this evening. I probably wouldn't have been a fan, had I seen that earlier on in his career. Not a cool thing to do.

I heard he was swimming over the top of the ray, and it reacted defensively and stabbed him right through the heart.

Steve Irwin was an entertainer, he made his leaving doing things that titilated the audience. His actions never left the question of "if" he was going to die tragically, only by what animal. I have nothing against Steve or his family but why did we watch? We watched because we were waiting for the expected to happen.

He did not deserve to die, I just don't find myself all that suprised that he did die.
