But, is there a "General Forum" or a place to just B.S.?

Great question. After your paperwork is turned in and you are vetted/verified as a Ranger on this site, there are rooms in the 'back' where you will spend much of your time with other Rangers. Until then, feel free to continue looking around and post in the sites available to you at this time. There is at least one 'general topic' forum out front for you now.
