Intro

Post by Dean »

Hello, I am Matt a 22-year old PFC out of Utica, NY attached to the 865th Combat Support Hospital from a stint as a former ROTC/SMP cadet. Currently, I am released from my unit as a DEP to pursue enlistment into the active Army and am slated to leave 24JUL06 under a 91W Option 40 contract. Although I have completed BCT and have over 2-years of service accrued, I have never attended AIT and therefore do not possess an MOS other than the designator of 09R. Having said that, I would like to take this time to thank-you for the information posted on this site as it helped me greatly in obtaining my contract and also for clearing up many of the questions that I've had along the way. Returning to lurking and otherwise being unnoticable.

Dean, this has been my lucky day. Your introduction is just fine. Read the FAQs, stickies and memorize the Ranger Creed. If you truly want to become a Ranger medic, this is the place to learn. The DEPs will be along shortly to welcome you. Never, never quit.

Marine requests knowledge.

Since a certain egg here has completed BCT, holds rank, and has accrued TOS, isn't that a little more than being in the DEP intro thread? Granted he hasn't done shit  , still he's been in the Machine. Hell, he even had a squared away intro.

If not I'll shut my fuckin suck... He seem's pretty copisetic where he's at reguardless.
Without MOS - he's not considered in military borebrush, leastways to be able to be sent overseas without training.
