Ranger Abell9, I guess my answer to your question is I am afraid. I’m afraid that I’m going to fail college, I’m afraid of my father disagreeing with, I’m afraid that I will not become a good soldier. But there isn’t one day where I haven’t thought about going active duty. The reason why I wanted to join the reserves in college is get some experience on what it’s like to become an enlisted soldier. So I could relate to my soldier if I became an officer. But I don’t know. But I understand what you are saying Ranger Abell9 and appreciate your comment. Maybe I haven’t seen what you have seen and maybe I need to mature.

"Maybe"???

Sam I don't often take time out of my day to speak to DEP's on here in a non-correcting tone but since you gave me a moment of laughter over the "Tater" thing I am going to make an exception.

Take a moment and go back and really read what Abell's said to you. There are few who I seek counsel from but I've known Abell for sometime now and he is one. As a retired Officer and a one time NCO, I know the value of Senior NCO's, I know the value of their wisdom and leadership.

In each man's life he is given chance to come into his own or not. You need to find a way to overcome this fear that seems to be overwhelming each and every aspect of your life. You also need to begin developing a level of confidence within yourself and there must be something there or Tater Nut's would not have given you the time of day and certainly I also value his impressions. So all being said, drop a nut and get with the program.

Nothing wrong with those words Heathen. A man has to find his strength where he can. Some find it in a gun, some in a bottle, some in a skirt, some in words of encouragement from the Bible. In any case, a man should find it cause if he doesnt find it anywhere....he will always be afraid and never face his fear. Personally, I found it in contrast. What did I fear the most. I feared failure the most and that fear pushed me so damned hard I had no time to be afraid of anything else.
