http://www.socom.mil/care_coalition/home.htmArmy Gen. Doug Brown, Commanding General, U.S. Special Operations Command, established the CARE Coalition in August 2005 to track, support, and advocate for special operations forces wounded in the war against terror.
Working with government organizations such as the Department of Defense, Military Services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps), military health care (TRICARE),and the Department of Veteran's Affairs, the CARE Coalition is tasked with ensuring the needs of wounded troops and their families are being met.
If a specific need doesn't fit into a government program, the USSOCOM Care Coalition looks to non- government organizations with missions or charters that align with the need of the wounded service member or their family.
