Introduction-New option 40 DEP

Post by jmp »

Hello to all Rangers,
My name is John, I am 23 years old and have gone about halfway through college. Today I went up to MEPS and signed my Option 40 Contract. I came home and found this site that looks like it will give me a lot of insight into what I am heading into. Unfortunatly I only have 2 weeks to prepare to ship since I am leaving 20060315. Any advise as how to best use my time preparing would be much appreciated.
I have always wanted to join the Rangers, and hopefuly will make it through to be able to call myself a Ranger along with the rest of you fine men.

Thank you,
JMP

You provided an introduction that meets mimimum standards. Given the short time you have to prepare, you had better be in great physical shape. Never, never quit.

It's more than doable. I had three weeks from signing to reporting. Then again, you might be completely fucked....
