This is probably going to the last time that I am at Armyranger.com for a while, because I ship out tommorow.
I would like to express my thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way, by writing about what I have learned
from Armyranger.com and how it has helped me tremendously.
When I first made an introduction to ArmyRanger.com I was trying to make a good impression by discussing my martial arts experience. I was then told by Ranger Kilted Heathen to Shut the fuck up.
THis shocked me and I was thinking how rude it was. It definetly caused a ripple in my world until I changed my intro and was pm'ed by Toes and he straightened out my shit. I then basically became a silent member of the board and just began to read and PT my ass off. I decided that I
needed to get a mentor to get one step above. Ranger RRTDm3 took me under his wing and helped me out tremendously. I recommend all Dep's to get a mentor.
It is now time to put up or shuttup. The last 4 months I have been pting my ass off and I got myself up to doing 60 pushups, 54 Situps and a 13: 37, 2 mile run time.
NOt great I know but, by the end of OSUT I can have the pt test maxed out. I know it has been said 100 times before but I really want this more then anything and I will not quit until I reach my goal of being
in the 75th Ranger Regiment.
Russell.

I will not wish you good luck because you make your own. You have a significant advantage because you have the opportunity to gain insights most of your peers in OSUT will not have. Use it to your advantage and you ought to do well. Please keep us posted on your progress. You are entering a very small, select group of men. Pay the price and enjoy it.
