Question about OSUT batt. assignments

Question about OSUT batt. assignments

I was looking through the Benning website and noticed that all of the classes are assigned a certain Batallion/Infantry. Does anyone know if which OSUT Batt./Infantry brigade you enter OSUT under has any affect on which direction your 11X goes? Or is it just random/based on the Army's needs when you graduate?

You BCT battalion has no bearing whatsoever.
