FNG Intro

No problem, Ranger Goog. I imagine he served in the late '70's, but I'm not positive. My friend, who is also shipping out on Jan. 12 with a Ranger contract, is really close to the family, and I'll check with him to find out his dates and unit designations and such. By the way, is there any kind of database where I could find out these things on my own? Or is information like that not available to the public? I haven't spent much time with him, and I'm not that close... I just know that he was more than happy to play Counter Strike with us 'young punks' and take us to see any war movie that came out. One time we were watching 'Tears of the Sun' with Bruce Willis and he'd be telling us all about the weapons used and all of the techniques the actors would be doing wrong and such. Fun stuff. But yeah, I'll try to get some more information.
