He pounded my AA wings into my chest so hard I thought I was going to cough up a lung. He was followed by the rest of the unit... I bled for hours with a big shit-eating grin on my face.
I'm incredibly proud and lucky to have served under Ranger Kilted Heathen, and the other Rangers of the 522nd and 312th LRSDs. I'm a better (and sicker) person because of it. They're the reason I didn't sew my leg wings onto any of my uniforms for months...until the weekend before Jump School.
