Wow, Welcome H8train1/75. Nice to meet someone of your caliber that has stood watch over those that have suffered above and beyond for all time. Many a tear has come to my eyes as I watched you and your breathen march strak over those who we can not identify. All my friends from the V. A. Hosp in Brooklyn, NY have taken many trips to arlington to pay respects to the unknowns - We all thank you for your service to our country. Thank you.

Mistake :? . Seems to me that assignment is an honor, and the mark of great accomplishment. The Tomb of the Unknowns . . . "Where Valor Proudly Sleeps".

But being a Tomb Guard helped me out alot when I was a cherry in Battalion. I mean't going to the unit was a mistake not going to the tomb. i just wanted to clear that up. Sorry I should have been more clear on what I was trying to say.
Rgr H8train1/75 my question was more rhetorical than anything else. But thanks all the same for explaining things.

Welcome Ranger H8Train1/75. One of my best friends (RIP) pulled duty at the Tomb in 68 after his return from Nam. Nice to have you join us!
