Hi, my name is Thomas. I joined the Army as a DEPer about a month ago with an 11x/OPT 40. My scheduled departure date for basic is Sep 15, 2005.
I am 23 years old and graduated high school in 2000. In high school I ran track as well as cross country and played soccer. Since high school I have been working full time as a freight handler on the night shift at South Eastern Freight Lines and going to the University of South Florida part time during the day.
My interests inlcude saltwater fishing, spear fishing, scuba diving, and camping. Anyone here in central Fl who wants to go fishing, shoot me a pm and we can split the gas in my boat.
My motivation in joining the Army, going to RIP and eventually becoming a Ranger is to lead a more service oriented life. Participating in a mission with meaning among individuals who exhibit the quality of character and selfless ideals that I have found to be extremely rare in the University atmosphere. I'm fed up with bitches driving beamers who havn't worked a day in their life, faggots with their collars up, and communist proffesors.
I plan to keep my mouth shut and eyes open on this site and learn from the tremendous volume of experience offered by Rangers and Veterans here.
