Clairification
Just wondering, Rangers, but on the faq for the board it says civilian lenses are not recommended for BAC. I was just wondering if they are allowed at all there. Thanks
The Army will give you glasses.

Do they still sell those geekstrap glasses?
Those things are your best bet. I knew guys who would get them with clear lenses and wear them while bustin brush at night. The ydo a fine job of insuring you eyeball doesn't make contact with thorny branches. The strap keeps them securely fastened to you pumpkin so you don't have to worry too much about them getting knocked off.

Now most active duty (nonlaser surgery guys) get highspeed (Oakley, WileyX, etc) glasses with prescription lenses.RangerX wrote:Do they still sell those geekstrap glasses?

X, you must be talking about the old Go-Faster Glasses. Do they even have those anymore? Way back when, they were the shit for Jumping and Busting Brush if you needed glasses. You looked like a Geek, but in the wood line who gives a shit.RangerX wrote:Do they still sell those geekstrap glasses?
